Bio

Mr. Ryan Blaker was elected to the Edinburgh Community School Board and started his term in January 2023. Ryan is an Edinburgh Community High School graduate (Class of 2013). His wife, Kendra, is also a Lancer graduate and their son Sam currently attends Edinburgh Community Schools. Mr. Blaker enjoys attending Sam’s athletic events.

After graduating from Edinburgh Schools, Mr. Blaker attended Ivy Tech Community College where he studied criminal justice. Mr. Blaker has served the community in public safety since his graduation, working for the Indiana Department of Corrections and Edinburgh Police Department.

Currently Mr. Blaker works for the Johnson County Sheriff’s Department. He is very excited to serve the local community on the school board.
