Bio

Mrs. Cathy Hamm began her first term of office on the Edinburgh Community School Board in 1995.  She served one term 1995-1998 and was then elected to serve again in 2000.  Mrs. Hamm has served continuously on the board since that time.

Mrs. Hamm is a 1971 graduate of Edinburgh Community High School, then known as Edinburg Community High School, as is her husband, Ron.  Mrs. Hamm’s son Chad is a 1995 Edinburgh graduate, and her daughter Jill is a 2001 graduate.  Her grandson Landon is currently in the class of 2029 at Edinburgh.

Mrs. Hamm retired as Director of the Edinburgh Wright-Hageman Public Library in 2014, after beginning her career at the library in 1980.  She is actively involved with the Edinburgh Alumni Association, Lion’s Club, and is currently enjoying working part-time at the John R. Drybread Community Center.

Mrs. Hamm enjoys being actively involved and serving the Edinburgh community.
